History

Waban Software traces its history to a company called Belmont Research that was the backend development partner for several products used in Clinical IT such as Clintrial® and Oracle Clinical®. Belmont Research was acquired by PPD (a global CRO), and in October 2001 Waban Software was spun out as an independent, employee owned, product based company with a technology platform originally developed for and exclusively licensed from PPD.

Waban Software's mission is to deliver products that capture the best practices of the domain, lower risk and help get medical products to market faster. Industry standard development and compliance are amongst our core strategies and strengths.

Waban Software provides products and services that enable pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare and CRO companies and academic institutes to capture, integrate, manage and analyze life sciences and clinical trial data.
